✈️Queue Priority
OaO RP Server Priority System Documentation
The OaO RP server uses a priority system to manage the queue for players attempting to join the server. Priority points are essential for determining a player's position in the queue, with more points leading to a higher placement. Players can earn and accumulate priority points through various roles and activities. Below are the primary ways to gain extra priority points:
Whitelist Jobs (LSPD, EMS):
Players who hold a whitelist job, such as with the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) or Emergency Medical Services (EMS), automatically accumulate priority points as long as they remain active in these roles. Points are regularly recovered in the server's Discord, ensuring that players who contribute to essential server functions are rewarded with higher queue positions.
Purchase Priority Packages or Win in Events:
Players can also purchase priority packages directly from the OaO RP Tebex Store. These packages grant significant boosts to priority points, which are added to any existing points from roles or jobs.
Additionally, players can win priority points by participating in server-hosted events. These events offer various rewards, including temporary or permanent priority boosts, providing an exciting way for active members to improve their queue position.
Crash Priority:
If a player crashes or uses the F8 quit command, they are granted a special Crash Priority. This provides the player with 1,000 priority points for a 10-minute interval, allowing them to quickly rejoin the server without losing their spot. This ensures that unexpected disconnects do not significantly impact a player's queue position.
How Priority Points Work
Players accumulate priority points from all sources, including whitelist jobs, purchased packages, event rewards, and crash priority.
Priority points from different sources are cumulative, meaning points from LSPD, EMS, priority packages, and crash priority all stack together. This allows players to maximize their queue position by combining points from multiple sources.
Points are regularly updated and recovered via the server’s Discord, ensuring that all eligible activities contribute to a player’s total priority score.
The total priority points a player has across all categories determine their final position in the queue when attempting to join the server.
Important Notes:
Regular updates to priority points ensure that active and contributing players maintain their benefits.
Purchased and event-won points may have specific terms, including duration limits or special conditions as per server rules.
This priority system is designed to reward active participation in essential server roles and contributions, while also providing safeguards like Crash Priority to ensure a fair and balanced approach to managing server access.
